My name is Bri McCoy (she/her) and I am a Molecular and Cellular Biology PhD student here at ASU. I am broadly interested in understanding the underlying molecular mechanism behind sarcopenia in non-human primates and how it is influenced by inflammation, immune dysregulation, and epigenetic changes over lifespan. I completed my B.S in Biological Sciences through ASU online and conducted research during my undergrad in muscle aging at the National Institute on Aging as well as the epigenetics of aging at Harvard Medical School. When I’m not in the lab, I enjoy running, hiking, and brunching.
