Corbin Johnson

My name is Corbin Johnson (he/him/his) and I am a graduate student in the SMack Lab. I am interested in using genomics to investigate questions at the intersection of social behavior, neurobiology, and immunology in non-human primates. I earned a BS in biology at the University of Notre Dame where I studied renal regeneration in zebrafish. I have also waded into the fields of immunotoxicology, type I diabetes pathology, and high school teaching – earning a Masters in teaching from the University of Portland along the way. Outside of the lab I enjoy all things Irish and exploring the hiking trails with my wife Annapatrice (pictured above).
